One Discord limitation: joining a voice channel can trigger a server mute, but it can’t automatically open a message visible only to that person. A workable version uses a “Check my wait” button in the channel chat; clicking it shows their private remaining time. I’ll use that approach if voice muting is what you meant. Got it. I’ll build the PHP voice-channel version with a 5-minute wait and the private “Check my wait” button, including setup instructions and safeguards around existing moderator mutes.

The PHP app is built, and I’m checking the tricky part: making sure a delayed unmute doesn’t undo a moderator’s action. Restart and connection-loss cases will require moderator review when ownership of the mute is uncertain. I’ll include that limitation in the setup guide.

Attached is the PHP source package with setup instructions, slash-command channel selection, a 5-minute voice mute, and a “Check my wait” button that shows a private countdown. It includes persistent state, moderator review controls, and tests.

Use a test server first. Static review is complete, but PHP lint/runtime tests, dependency installation, and live Discord behavior weren’t run here.

Important: Discord uses one shared server-mute flag. The app skips existing mutes and stops automatic release when it detects uncertainty, but a simultaneous moderator action can still be indistinguishable. The guide explains this and a channel-permission alternative.
